Hi everybody, I finished the vehicle in Panzer Grey and will start the weathering process soon. I want to add some minor chipping and scratches too, what colour(s) should I use for this ?
Thanks in anticipation 🙂

Hi Wilfried!
What kind of grey colour did you use for the normal painting? Acrylics or Enamel?

Holger Kranich
Normally you should use a mix of 50% black and 50% brown for that. Just mix a lil bit shading with some drops of white or primerred. For small scratches a normal pencil will work.

Hi Holger, thanks for your advice
I used Gunze acrylics for the main paintjob. First I'll have to spray the gloss coat for wich I use my (last 🙁 ) bottle of Johnson Klear.
Should I apply the scratches before or after the gloss coat ?
Thanks for the link, I will study these pics carefully !

I, personally would do it before doing a gloss coat. But i think it doesnt matters too much!

Added picture 3, 4, 5 and 6. Vehicle glossed and decalled, and ready for weathering.

I hope the gun muzzle isn't overscale ... 😉
