Nice work and pe's! Will surely become a gem! Do you heat the pe's before bending?

I rarely do - if I feel it makes the material easier to work with. Thanks for the kind words from

Hi Frank, nice Battlewagon. The old Lady looks warlike in her modernized 1944 fit. Nice painting and weathering as usual! I'm curious to see the final result. Cheers, Christian

Thank you all!

Meanwhile, I added the decals and railings, plus a flat coat (always a good attempt at hiding one´s sins ...) Next would be crewing and rigging the vessel, but I´ll do the rigging first in this case as I don´t yet know how and where the vessel will end up in the dio, and where the crew figures will be needed.

Best regards
Frank

Album info

I´m building the 1:700 Dragon kit in a late war fit, after her last refit. This differs from the kit configuration so needs some tweaking. I´m using the book "Keystone Battlewaggon" plus web images as reference. I´m not overly happy with the cramped instruction sheet and the plethora of spures, but that´s Dragon for you. I´m using GMM PE for US WW2 battleships, plus a large number of Lion Roar and other sheets with individual parts, even though GMM has the gist of what you need.
