Bristol Beaufort Mk.VIII

Scale:
1:72
Status:
Completed
Started:
August 11, 2014
Completed:
January 5, 2015
Time spent:
Five months - bloody hell!

With the extensive amount of resin components, plus a large fret of photoetch, this looks to be an out-of-the-box project. But I'm not willing to bet on that! I always seem to find some aftermarket that I just have to have.

I agree, it will be a fun project. Plus, the Australian RAAF camouflage scheme has some different colours, Foliage Green and Earth Brown over Sky Blue. Not the same as Dark Green and Dark Earth over Sky which you see for the RAF. The kit looks nice, but it has the usual vague instructions that you get from Special Hobby. It will be fun figuring out how it all goes together! 🙂

Thanks, Bernd! I do like the obscure topics sometimes. That's why I have so many Special Hobby kits in the stash! 🙂
