Three 1/20 Großerhund kits.

Großerhund mk1 small brain version. 

Time to finish some kits off. A Pack of three Artificial Intelligence controlled drone stalker Großerhund variants, a Mk1 small brain, Kyklops heavy and a Altair space version, all at the same time. Lol ? added a few extra nuts n bolts, tiny details to each, to make them unique. I like to think of them as early experimental robocop suits, with dog brains, and the programming of a Terminator.

1/20 mk1 small brain Großerhund. Finished for now, I'll probably go back and do some tinkering and more to it one day. Changed the rear pipes to some strong wire, to help it stand better. The small feet don't cope well with its weight, glad that was changed on the later variants. Great, fun build, tried some new things, slowly getting better with each build I feel. If you haven't got one, buy one.  

Großerhund number two, the Mk2 Kyklops, WIP. More soon. This one atleast won't fall over so easily.

1/20 Großerhund Ausf K mk II Big Brain, Heavy Type Kyklops unmanned Humanoid Ambush interceptor of the Strahl Demokratische Republik Defence Forces.
That's the smelly red primer stage done. Still no idea on camo, as this is my second Großerhund, I want to do a completely different ground scheme, so a dark grey, or white wash looks to be where I'm going. Great kit, love these cyber-robots. Think I'll mod antenna at some point too, give him a little flag pendant. #KowYokoyama #maschinenkrieger #großerhund #makzbv3000 

Chocolate undercoat on the Großerhund Space Type Altair. More tomorrow I think. I'll get the light grey camo on and blue insignia details then. 

Starting on the camo dark grey, no idea what I'm doing. Hopefully it'll all come together. Toblerone for scale.
Looks like I'm aiming for a German silent movie, Cabinet of Dr Caligari kind of motif. Cool, I can work with that. More to come tomorrow.

Continuing WIP, on the 1/20 Hasegawa Großerhund Space Type Unmanned Lunar Ambush Interceptor, Altair. Stumbling through as usual. The head, neck and main body are pretty much done now, decals for these parts next, then weather them in, and work my way down the arms and legs.

I've put some decals on, I'll sort them out when dry tomorrow. He is DeathsHead Yellow Seven of the SDR Luna Streitkräfte. Getting there I think. A break from the Sci-fi Ma.k universe coming up after this, back to something historic and real. 

1/20 Hasegawa Großerhund Space Type Altair, Yellow 7, DeathsHead, SDR Luna Streitkräfte. Getting near the end, added as many decals as I wanted. Tying it all together now, last bits of weathering and the camera lenses to do. Then a all over last matt coat, and I'm done. Basic colours blocked in. 

Looks like I'm going red and creamy grey, this is just base coated so far. It'll all be rusted up and scuffed to hell. I think this unit will be attached to Airfield security of some kind. Patrolling SDR Airfields against Mercenary air attacks. I'm going to paint it like an old rusty soviet fire engine basically. 

That's enough for today. Started weathering the main body to the same level as the head. Still needs more filters, chips, scratches, dirt and rust, then bring it together with some decals. But I'm very pleased with how this is going so far. 

That's another day of painting over. Both double-barrelled panzerfausts painted and weathered up. Looking fairly cool I think. Going to look like it's fallen down an old metal fire escape lol ? I think I'm starting to learn when to leave it alone. 

Top half done of the rusty Soviet Fire Engine. Looking cool. Lenses, and power cables still to do. Don't know if I'm even going to bother adding decals? Maybe just weathered numbers? 

And that's that, finished my last of three Großerhund robotic killing machines. A small brain Mk1, a Mk2 Altair space type and the old heavy Mk2 ausf K Kyklops. Was a lot of fun, they are great kits. Project successfully completed. Painted all three up over the last year.
