Basic cabin used some Eduard WW2 Luftwaffe Belts
![Album image #2 Album image #2](/albums/img/7/3/8/1406738-69735-36-720.jpg)
Struggled to locate the instrument panel and ended up using too much glue and melted the top edge in the weld. With the decal already on was too scared to sand it too much.
![Album image #3 Album image #3](/albums/img/7/3/7/1406737-69735-46-720.jpg)
Mild sanding on the panel but frustratingly still messed up.
![Album image #4 Album image #4](/albums/img/7/3/9/1406739-69735-65-720.jpg)
Buttoned up (sun roof) only dry fitted. Used too much wash and couldn’t shift it on the rear cabin floor and seat edge but will be putting a crate in there anyway so moving on.
![Album image #5 Album image #5](/albums/img/7/4/0/1406740-69735-30-720.jpg)
Some panel line preshading but not sure how it will perform under the Vallejo satin aluminium paint.
![Album image #6 Album image #6](/albums/img/7/4/1/1406741-69735-47-720.jpg)
Some shading visible also did the blue under the wing with it still unattached for ease.
![Album image #7 Album image #7](/albums/img/7/4/3/1406743-69735-42-720.jpg)
Added the black panels on the nose and rear fuselage.
![Album image #8 Album image #8](/albums/img/7/4/5/1406745-69735-59-720.jpg)
May have gone too far adding chipping to the nose panel and tried to tone it back. May redo. Also added the horizontal stabiliser black edges.
![Album image #9 Album image #9](/albums/img/7/5/9/1417759-69735-31-720.jpg)
All glossed up and decals and stencils done.

Went for some really heavy chipping and sand weathering in the underside using AK panel liners as washes.

Thanks Moreno. @Lukasz it has been a good kit, any issues are inevitably mine. I like the way the kit is designed to mask the belly seam with some raised ridges along the underside is a nice touch. If I was going again I'd do the Luftwaffe scheme on the box as it's so colourful and interesting (uses more kit parts too) but I'm reading around the whole Morrocco and Western Sahara stuff in the Africa@War Helion book series and the aircraft modelling options are numerous. I may even be inspired to get the Buchon conversion off the shelf of doom 😄

Thanks, Roland, Michael, And Bernd- I'm a little further along currently and have done some heavy desert weathering to try and give it an over-used workhorse-type feel. It's certainly dulled down the aluminium shine for sure. Pics to follow.

I'm working on a Buchon used in the desert and I've also applied a very heavy desert weathering..I'm very curious about your result 🙂

Calling this one done. Really happy with the kit, and getting better (I think) with dio bases, just need better photography skills though. Apologies for the distracting wall paper 😄

That is really dirty, compared to my zebra 😁👍
PS. I think the dio pics need better ligh, they look quite dark.

Nice one. I like it. Looking forward to start a dual build of my two in my stash. Still pondering which seatbelts to take.
Nice little scene of yours.

Thanks for your kind words Robert, Neuling, Bernd, and Michael .. @Lukasz I'll try and get least one in some better light.. thanks for all the 'likes' too. I'm heading back into 1:48 mode next with a Gladiator/Bf-110 combo. Sonderkommando Junck Bf-110D vs Gladiator | Project by Erebus Nyx (1:48)

Very impressive build Gary, I know how demanding Special Hobby kits can be from personal experience. Congrats! 👍
