cast surface texture made with tamiya putty + cellulose thinner
gun mantlet cover is ordinary tissue paper fixed to the turret and gun barrel with CA then soaked with diluted pva to give the creases and sag naturally also to protect against upcoming primer as well as me manhandling causing tear damage etc.
