My first resin head ever attached to a not so badly molded kit from 1975. A lot of touching up to do!
Finally got around to start painting the figure. I removed the stock head for a much nicer looking head from hornet.

The old figures arnt that great, im not going to build the standing soldier at all and im thinking of swapping out the riding soldiers head for a resin one.
Most of the touch up done but the problem with magnifiying images is that you find more flaws... Magnifing wisor ordered as a result. Hope it works better!

Markus YliahoThanks mate. I used a simple technique. After I painted the sadle with a brownish red mix i used Vallejo iraqi sand to simulate some wear, then i just glazed the sadle with a dark brown wash.
