'32 Ford Street Rod

My original plan for this kit was to build it into a custom street rod, but it's a skill level 2 kit, so the frame, fenders, and floor pan are all 1 piece, and would have required a lot of extra work to build what I had in mind. Instead, I opted to build the kit OOB, and paint it like the box photo. I intended to use the decals for color detail, but discovered during application that they were old and had yellowed quite badly, so in the end I left them off. 

 

Though I didn't detail the engine, I ended up leaving the hood off to try to make the model look a little more like a hot rod.
