Somewhere in Holland. A squad of paratroopers had found themselves on country road during 1940 airborne landings and are marching toward the sound of guns, dragging equipment canister with them.
Figured it was time for something a big bigger…… Opted to place figures in Holland 1940, not Crete 1941 as box suggests. Not really a difference as far as equipment goes but I figured it would be easier to make proper terrain. Added mess tins to equipment. Not sure if they were used or not, some photos show only canteens attached to bread bag but are unclear whether tins are attached elsewhere. Anyway, I used them because I have so many in my spares box and I figured I might as well use them here. Handguns seem to be issued in large numbers not only to machine gunners and officers but also rank and file so every figure has one. Figures are what you can expect form 1990s Dragon. Decent detail, some flash and ejection marks but nothing a bit of work can’t fix. Good fits for body parts. Decided not to give MG ammo belt
