The... kit... or is that the sprues? I guess it’s just a piece of paper.

Carefully cut out the shape.

After some careful glueing, it already looks like a car... kinda.

A few more bits on... and now it’s starting to look like the right car!

What kind of paper kit is that? It reminds of cubeecraft.com/ print, cut, fold and glue along lines, bam new paper friend.

Basically that's the same idea. You actually might be amazed at the complexity you can achieve using only paper (well, and card stock and a bit of wire sometimes). I chose the second-most simple paper model I could find (the most simple was too simple) because once you convert it down to 1/72 the details get blurry... or at least my eyes do trying to cut them out of plastic and glue them.

If you like paper models fiddlersgreen.net might be of interest. My first model was a fg post card my gran gave me. Twenty years later I was doing work for them. What I like about fg is the simplicity lends it's self to adding detail or making them very tiny.

Thanks Matthew. I've checked out fiddlers green before. It's a great site with lots of cool paper models. I can't remember where I got this one, but it's mostly for the shape anyway.

No pressure Greg but I'm expecting this level of detailing: Austin 8Hp Tourer | Album by Christian Bruer (1:72)

No pressures at all... 🙂
I added some reinforcing bits to the front and the top. It's very hard to add glue to the already glued bits without everything coming undone.
