I rode one or two of these around many years ago pretending I could be a 'b' grade trials rider. I'll be following!

Thank you guys for your comments. The reason why I am building this kit is, because I only had the 50ccm version some decades ago - but I always wanted to have the bigger one; so it did not happen in real life..........another reason for buidling this one is to trying out several natural metal finishes; for now I can recommend the XTREME metal colours.
I would be happy if you keep following

If you don't mind I'll take a seat.

I understand that; it looks so inviting in its sleak shape....

The metals certainly look really good

but i think you need to use something stronger to simulate the springs in the rear wheel. everything else look so good that those are kind of a pity....

Agreed. Some testing called for Michael.

Concerning the spring imitation you are surely right; being honest I knew it before; I guess this is going to challenge me building some more vintage bikes (this was my first one); what vintage bike kits would you propose?

i think you used some really soft wire, try a harder one. simply roll it around some rod of the right size. i did that for example with the central shock absorber of my NXR

Tanks for that info, Tim. Yes that was the fault: the wire was too low dimensioned. Next time...
I really like your NXR: looks like being a real one (1:1) and the weathered look especially on the tyres!
All that makes me wanting to build some more bike kits. Thank you for your input.
