Basic base
Square concrete slabs.
There’s some grass waiting to be messed with.
Added some pigments to get rid of the uniform look. The grass was too green!
Dirtied the tarmac & glued the barrels in place.

Martin OostromIt's just some green stuff on a paper backing, a grass mat. Bought it once online somewhere. Can't really remember where. It looks nice, but when cutting it the whole table gets a greenish hue due to the fine green stuff that's not glued to the paper. Of course I saved this in a small jar. Never know when I need some.

For my F-8, a base is needed. Luckily I made some mental pictures of the French airbase of Rien ne va Plus. That airbase will stand as a model for my base.
