Side details look a little better than the flat and featureless PE. Although the oxygen mask looked like a CB radio to me.

Looks good so far Nathan. You certainly don't like to be defined buy a particular era, WWI, WWII & modern at the same time! I've recently bought this kit, so I hope it's a good'un.

Hah thanks it's true! Although I'm not totally back on cars or boats hey but the year is still early!! The kit goes together well. There is a seam on the belly that is a bit tricky. Look for the Tamiya P51 model on genesismodels on YouTube and he has a smart fix for it by cutting a small piece of plast card and blending it back to the fuselage rather than attempt tomoutty and sand in a tight spot

perhaps you can add a light wash with Umber or Sienna on the PE Seatbelts. it will give a bit more used look. Otherwise the Pit is coming great together!

Yeah thanks roger! I might add some light dust in there too with pigments after I do all the spraying before I permanently affix the canopy!

@gorby I meant putty and sand! Writing from my phone doesn't work so well🙂 most of the input box is off screen!

I assumed that is what you meant Nathan.

This one is coming along nicely. I bought an Iwata RG-3 spray gun to do the base primer. It went on so smooth with a minimal amount of paint. It worked much better than trying to use my normal airbrushed to do the base coat.

Wow! That a stunner Nathan! I will be pleased if mine turns out half as good as that!
