Yet another little cracker Mike - love the 'Chippie'! You must have enough Airfix rivets shaved off to make another model by now! 👍 🙂

What a little Gem - very nice - brings back memories of my ATC days and flying in one of these at Cambridge

I remember getting this kit as a "Sinterklaas" present back in the late 70's. It was in one of those plastic bags and had 2 port fuselage halves. My first brush in with Airfix QC 🙂 You did a great job on it though !

Love it, great finish of a great subject. I'd love one of these in 1/48 so I could build the aircraft I had experience flights in with the cadets back in the 80s!

Mike, very impressive what you get out of this old Airfix kit. Could you tell us how you modified the wheels/rims?.... 🙂

Nice dayglo - Decals or paint? And dammit. This one is missing off my wishlist. Kicking myself as it's one I actually flew in.

Thanks so much, guys 🙂
@komoras Yes, Parafilm for all other masking including the canopy.
@Renoit Thanks, for the wheel hubs I made decals with the rim/rivet detail and applied them. I also added brake lines from sprue.
@playtime222 Dayglo bits are masked and painted (Gunze Mr Color lacquer)

Album info
An rivet-encrusted oldie from Airfix, but with a simple re-scribing job and a little cockpit detailing it looks a bit better. Home made decals depicting a Yorkshire UAS aircraft.
