My first try on a natural metal finish😮
I made every beginner's mistake possible on this model ,so learned allot .
The next 1 would be better i guess .
The kit is from academy 1/48 scale .(Thx Erik and Martien for providing me this 1 👍).
I used alclad polished aluminium on the alclad gloss black base.

Still a very neat looking Hawk Arne, couldn't have done it any better! My first NMF kit is still to come..

Thanks guys
One of the problems i had is that i pulled off a some pieces of decals with masking tape . I used the same tape like i always do, protected the decal with a layer of future . Now i wonder if decals got less adhesion on a metal paint. Any tips tricks and aswers are more then welcome. 😄

more layers of Future and more curing time perhaps ?
I know some use Tamiya Extra Thin to really suck the decal down to the surface...

Turned out really good Arne! Alclad stinks up your workspace but the results are well worth it!
