Box states 1005mm which is why i wanted to lay out the flight deck to get an idea of where the heck I can display her!

In which configuration / time period you'd like to build your Big E?

Hi Christian, since i have struggled to get any other decal options for the airwing i have decide to use the post major refit in '82 as the period. I would have preferred a more recent period but decal options restricted me.

They have some more CAW but from the 1960's to 1970's where you've had to back date your Big E

Thanks Christian, i looked at them but with exchange rate of 16 ZAR to 1 USD it would cost almost as much as the actual carrier cost me 2 years ago! Then also the additional hornets and helos would mean more importing at that crazy rate. Had to go for the option with the least additional purchase but at least it will be accurate, the other option was to use Nimitz air wing decals I could get much cheaper but would really annoy me knowing it was not correct.
