We had the Saladin and Saracen in the 4/19th Prince of Whales light Horse at Puckapunyal when I was there in 65

Very nice, Colin.👍
A little bit of dust and dirt would make it look more lifelike.

Thanks all, I decided to keep this one clean as a barracks vehicle would be. The crossed Kukri's are from the Queens Royal Irish Hussars in Brunei 1963 and also in homage to my father who served with the Ghurkha signals in Malaya for many years.

Hi Kerry, I had Saracen early on with A Sqn 16/5 L before transitioning to Scimitar in the mid 1970's. Also served on Saracen in N Ireland, great vehicle, high pitched engine though.

Hi Colin, Thank you for the crossed Kukri's information and I must agree, Yes mate, you could hear them a mile away, and the ferret scout cars did that too. :-/
I like the overall colour of yours, as it looks like it's been following a few vehicles at speed through some very dirty water 'run off'. If that is what you intended it to look like. OR, am I wrong and have a size 9 1/2 in my gob. :-/ ?🙂 👍.
