Hello Everybody!
This is my Accurate Miniatures Douglas SBD-1 Dauntless in pre war markings. Started this modell years ago but never finished it till today. The kit is great and there were no additional bits and pieces used. The carrier deck section is from Eduard.

Deine Dauntless ist ein absoluter Eyecatcher. Ich liebe die alten Navy-Maschinen mit ihren gelben Tragflächen.

The Boeing Stearman had a similar colour scheme, plus I haven't done a biplane in years..
I reckon that might be on my to do list 😄

I found a Revell 1:48th scale kit in just the colour scheme I was thinking of,
Bargain at £1,449.91 !!! 😮

Should I go for it ?
or do you think it is part of some money laundering scheme ?

Not bad anyway... but some kind of expensive. May be the folks selling on Amazon are getting a little bit crazy meanwhile ?

Haha yes indeed talk about bonkers !!
it has got to be some kind of money laundering operation, good way to move hidden money etc.

Anyhow this one seems more reasonably priced at £13 delivered but it is a Lindberg kit whom I know nothing about plus it aint the colour scheme I want...

Cheapest 1:48 Revell ones are £20 or more, seems a touch expensive to me, though not entirely crazy but I can get an Eduard Profi 1:48 Spitfire (or a Revell 1:32) for that.
Still though, patience is a virtue and a bargain is bound to pop up sooner or later, and it's not as if I don't have plenty of other kits to be going on with 🙂

Btw, what scale is your Dauntless, 1:32nd ?

So far the Eduard Profi Me 109 E-1 kit has impressed me the most, it really is a superb looking kit, feels nice, love the PE that comes with it, quality moldings, decals look good too, just everything about the kit is awesome to me, plus I got lucky and bought it for only £15.60 😄
Now I want the Spitfire Mk IXc late version, there newest one, for the complete dogfight duo pair 🙂
