As you can tell this is not my E-2. It's Mike Williams on hyperscale.com

Hi Brandon.
I would suggest to make a pattern for the Panel, by using a wider peace of Maskingtape, and drawing a line in the wanted Shape with a pencil. When you happy with the result, follow the Line with a Cutterblade and you're done. I worked this way at my BumbleBee-Style Camaro, where i made me a Pattern for the Stripes on the Hood and Trunk. Good Luck, Andy

There is also a very nice step by step built of an E-2 on scalespot.com, maybe you find some ideas there. You can see pics like Michael Hickey do his anti-glare panels.

Album info

Hello guys,I am absolutely terrible with masking,I can mask straight lines, but on this E-2 there is an anti glare panel, and I would like to know how i would mask that because I'm getting another E-2C from Hasegawa in 1/72
