This is the old tool kit from the 80s. There was a hell of a lot of flash to deal with, many warped and short shot parts and some questionable fitting in places! However, it was a lot of fun to build. It has been airbrushed mainly with SMS paints and some Alclad Milspec also a tiny bit of Tamiya and Vallejo Air here and there for hand brush details.
A few of the pitot tubes and other bits were inevitably snapped off during the build, some were glued back on and some were lost to the great parts keeper in the sky!
I have the new tool version in the stash but will give that a while before I build it. I have no idea where I am going to put this one!
