They don't make 'em like they used to, and this kit is a prime example. It is extremely detailed in comparison to a modern Revell kit, essentially an exact replica. I have been bouncing back and forth between projects so I can take my time with its numerous parts and hopefully get a good finish

I'll hop in, if that's ok?
I picked up one of these, recently, and I'm curious to see how things go?

Nice, welcome! The kit has gone together very well except for two things: primer and assembly order. Enamel based primers slid right off the older rigid plastic but I found rustoleum black paint and primer in one worked well. Also, seems like a no-brainer, but follow the instructions: I usually build sub-assemblies in my own order prior to final assembly to keep the finish looking good, but in the case of the chassis, driveshaft, and exhaust the order of operations is extremely important or you will warp/break the older parts.

Thanks for the heads up! I too, build in sub-assemblies. I'll have to keep this in mind, for this one! I was thinking about trying to find another kit, and see if I could customise it, and show the two together, being very different versions of the same vehicle?

Hmmm... Surgery required!
Could you turn it into something else? A George Barris moment, possibly?

Oh no way! I will finish it in a few weeks. Going to make the parts I need from thinner sheet plastic
