AV-8B Plus Harrier II WIP

Nice resin cockpit, especially if compared to the kit parts. 

Huge areas has to be thinned out to gain space for the resin pit. 

Nose job nearly done, only some filling and sanding is required. 

Finished the nose and I´m happy with the result. 

The LERX are another weak point of the kit, I tried to sand the thick base down to make them look a bit more like the real ones. 

Not perfect but way better than oob. 

The strakes are positioned in a wrong angle. 

The fairings are the wrong shape. 

The fairings were removed and the angle of the first strake was corrected.  

The new fairings. 

The little moveable deflector behind the front wheel was new built. 

Strakes and wings are finaly in position. 

Still some gaps to fill...
 

Starts looking like a Harrier. 

Intakes are put in place and show some gaps that need to be filled. 

Some improvement for the FLIR. 

Nice HUD frame from the Aires etched fret.
