Kyle DeHartI have been remiss in documenting this project. But that's ok because I'm doing nothing special. This is simply a quick, fun and dirty OOB build of a fun old monogram kit. Nearing the end now. Nice kit of a pretty car.

Kyle DeHartVery quick and small update and one teaser pic. It's on wheels and has headlights. Getting very near to the end. Just have some bumpers and some touch ups. Final photos soon

bughunterDo you have a picture of the radiator? Is it a chrome part and you painted it brass inside?

Kyle DeHartThanks you for your interest my friend and thank you Christian. The color is Splash infrared over white primer.
The radiator is indeed kit chrome and the inside I washed several times with Tamiya black (and a little brown) panel liner to give it that time. The surround I wanted to keep the bright look but I wanted to really tone down the actual radiator section.

Kyle DeHartCalling this one complete. I enjoyed this old kit. Typical monogram kit with relatively nice fit and some nice molded in details. The only real major downfall is the separate roof. Pain to get squared up. I could've been cleaner there but didn't feel like devoting too much time to this one. It'll look nice enough up on the shelf. I love building these old kits. Always a good time.

BozzerLol JV 🙂 Kyle has got us all, stepping up our game! I'm starting my new cave this spring. I've already sourced my plywood sheets. I'm just waiting for the weather to pick up here, and I'll get the necessary timber, for the frame.

Kyle DeHartThanks Bozzer and Jv. I've just gotten another display cabinet because I filled mine up. 😬🤦🏻♂️. The new space has certainly made some things easier. I am very fortunate…mostly in regards to my wife. Who puts up with my plastic addiction quite gracefully! Allows me to build as much as I have time for

BozzerJust back to the subject of space, as promised, I've been busy! I'll put an album together for you guys and you can see my efforts. It's not finished yet, because typical English weather has taken its toll, but I'm still working on it after work and at weekends. 😉

BozzerHopefully after the weekend, I'll have made some more progress and I'll put an album together. The other one took me a while, but this one is more planned, if not slightly rushed! Really, I should've taken a week off work, but things are very busy, so make hay, while the sun shines 😉
