Next one to build is the Hurricane IIc. An Academy model from 1997, this will be OOB. 🙂
Cool subject, I like the Hurricane, as it has always stood in the shadow of the Spitfire. Gotta love the underdog 🙂
Agree Jan, I do like the Hurricane (as well as the Spitfire! ) 🙂
Vallejo Model Air interior grey green added to internal to fuselage, cockpit and wheel wells. 🙂
Fuselage together. propeller Vallejo Model Air black and Humbrol yellow tips. Nose Vallejo Model Air Sky. 🙂
Nice progress Guy.

Will be watching with interest
Welcome Mark 🙂

Thanks David and welcome 👍
Decals on cockpit controls and back of main door. Gun cockpits finally 🙁 together. I hope they fit as they are a real issue to get together. There are 4 pieces to each gun cockpit and the moulding is not the best to say the least! 🙂
Wow! You are very productive!!! Great job! ??
Many thanks Moreno. 👍

Many thanks Moreno, I agree with you but have recently tried this so that I can airbrush the varnish on both sides and avoid any marks on the underside of the wings while drying. 👍
The cockpit was quite difficult as the fit wasn't the best. I now though declare this model completed. 👍
Hauptmann Karl-Heinz Krahl (25 September 1914 – 14 April 1942) was a Luftwaffe ace and recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross during World War II. On 14 April 1942, he was shot down and killed in action in his Messerschmitt Bf 109 F-4 (Werknummber 8784—factory number) by anti-aircraft artillery near Luqa, Malta. During his career he is credited with between 19 - 24 aerial victories, all against Western forces.
Krahl was appointed Gruppenkommandeur (group commander) of II. Gruppe of Jagdgeschwader 3 "Udet" (JG 3—3rd Fighter Wing) on 21 November 1941.
Great job!!! Well done!!! I really like the overall finish and the perfect antenna wire!
Maybe I will add only a bit of weathering on the insignia...
Many thanks Moreno, I really appreciate your comments and tips 👍

A lot of Ki-43s on SCM recently - it's certainly a popular subject. Good job. Did you use Vallejo paints during the build?
Very Nice result 👍
Very many thanks Mark K, John G & Roland for your kind comments. @John G, yes, the paints were all Vallejo Model Air. 🙂

bottom of the canopy (2 parts) are together and fixed. I had to create some extra clear parts with the Clearfix to cover up the gaps 🙁
Looking good, Guy, I have a SMER Storch I want to do in Winter Camo with skis. Need to get some RLM 02 before I start. And finish off the Vengeance...
Thanks Gordon, a winter Storch with skis sounds good, I'll be watching that with interest 🙂 The Vengeance, I'm sure you'll finish soon 👍
Watching with interest 👍 At some point I want to build one too.
It's definitely not the best of moulds Roland. I hope you haven't got the versions with lots of flash and warped parts 🙁
