I completely missed this one. The texturing on the concrete looks amazing and is superbly painted and weathered. I also like the flesh colour tones you've done on the exposed skin of the gun crew. Fantastic looking diorama and fabulous pictures once again👍👍👍

Thank you mates! - David, my hometown Regensburg is only 80 km away form the Czech border (we felt a little tense in 68) and Plzen is our twin city. So since the fall of the Iron Curtain there is a very good neighborhood and I have been over there many times. - Dominik, I have around 20 kits in my stash (among them some very old ones), 40 figure kits and 20 kits with diorama accessories. I have only a small showcase in my working room. Most of my dios are stashed in dust proof plastic boxes piled up in the loft.

I know Regensburg, it was the first town after iron courtain fall I've visited and I remember the shock in first modellers shop in the western Europe. I know that Regensburg is the gate to Bohemia and in the old medieval times there was also biscup for Bohemian countries. Nice historical city.

@Neuling ... Man, ich kann ja deutsch schreiben. Fällt mir schwer in Englisch. Sorry for the others, really!
Ich habe das bei meiner CH auf der Herdplatte gemacht. Alufolie auf die heiße Platte und die Reifen drauf gedrückt. Das müsste gut funktionieren. Sie werden wahrscheinlich nicht so bauchig wie in Realität, aber zumindest wird die Auflagefläche größer. Dann scheint nicht so fiel Licht durch. Bei der CH in 1/48 war ich zufrieden. Die sind auch recht klein. Ob es bei größeren Reifen auch so gut geht und akzeptabel ausschaut, weiß ich nicht. Bin Militärbaufasziniert aber sonst nicht so mein Gebiet.
Teure Zurüstteille würde ich auch nicht kaufen.

Thank you HammerMax, Derek, Dominik and Daniel! - Daniel, ich habe in meinem Arbeitszimmer eine kleine Glasvitrine mit einer Dioramen-Wechselausstellung. Ansonsten bewahre ich die Dioramen einzeln in staubsicheren Plastikboxen auf, die ich auf dem Speicher staple.

Neuling, what did you use to tint the windows? I'm using Alclad II Transparent Green Armored Glass. 2 of the 3 windows worked well, the third is not. The Alclad II keeps pooling and not adhering. I pre treat all 3 with Future. I am on my 5th attempt to get the last window tinted, but the window is no longer pristine and will show some wear when finished annoying. Tempted to replace the window altogether.

Great tip, thanks. I just stripped clean the windows again after the 7th failure. This time I got the ALCLAD to sit on the windows, and it looked OK. After 15 hours to cure, I applied a dullcoat to seal it in place - disaster once again. The ALCLAD ran like water colors destroying what I finally achieved. I just bought Vallejo Emerald Green and Transparent Green as a substitute. I am done with ALCLAD. I'll give the green sheets a try next time.
