Mirko RömerHi Simon, bought the AAV many yeras ago on Ebay. My impression is, that Dragon promises a lot but can't always keep up with the self-generated expectations of the modeller. Strangely there are big qualitiy differences in the kits; anouncement and release dates differ a lot...but that's the same with other manufacturers, too, for example Modelcollect, Hobby Boss... Good luck! The kit is quite ok, but nothing spectacular and has no decals.

How's this kit so far? It's a HB kit with additional resin parts? I tried both the 1:72 scale Zvezda and HB Ka-50 and trashed them both... 🙁
After that I went for the Revell 1:48 scale Ka-50, hopefully that one survives me...

it´s quite basic,the most of the details are... ok
the cockpit is not really detailful and the panellines on one side are ok
on the other they are a bit to flat and some are missing
i don´t use the resin parts (2 rocketlauncher/1 figure) because the plastic parts looks much better
i bought itonce and not again

Simon Nagorsniksorry cuajete i can´t say if the zvezda is better or not because i onley knew this one
it´s also my first helicopter in 2o years, so I can't say much about a comparable quality of other kits 🤔

I built the Italeri kit many years ago, with raised panel lines. I guess any of the other options will be better.
