Wounder if you can just build the truck with out the 2cm Flak 38? The CyberHobby models look more detailed than Tamiya's Opel Blitz.

Hi Daniel,

Yes, you will be able to build the kit without the Flak as well because it is a two-in-one kit. The version without the Flak, which you can build from this box, is based on Dragon's #6670 kit (link below).

It is a very nice kit and will build into a good looking Opel Blitz. Definitely much better compared to the Tamiya and Italeri kits, I'd say 🙂

The price may seem a bit steep for such a relatively small kit but given the quality of the kit and the fact that there are basically no alternatives, I think it is worth it. I'd give it a thumbs up 👍 and once it is released into the wild I am probably going to pick up one or two for myself as well 😄

Looking at the part call out from Modelingmaddness, it looks like there are no unused parts. So might be looking at a part count of around 300 to 400. But I'll be picking this kit up some time in the future. 😄

From time to time DragonUSA,com has it for around $40.00 USD.

I'm working on that kit atm, very nice, and IMHO, better than the Tamiya even if it's more complicated to build. But the great advantage of the Cyber Hobby is they offer the wheels to build a " late" version with the 8 holes wheels. Thing that Tamiya don't.
