Lost_Erik Looks great. Any details, struggles or victory stories to share?
24. April 2017 at 04:40:29
Daniel Smith Thanks Erik. The kit is simple, with very little problems. I'll post a run down of the problems I ran into. :)
24. April 2017 at 16:00:49
Daniel Smith One of two problems I ran into was, part E1 and B16. When B16 is placed as shown, the center cone did not line up flush with E1. So I glued the cones together first, then glued sides that go over the air intakes. Second was the nose did not line up flush with the main air frame, so I started with 400 grit sand paper and grinded it down flush, then polished the scratches away with fine sandpaper, starting at 800 and finishing with 2000.

Wounder if you can just build the truck with out the 2cm Flak 38? The CyberHobby models look more detailed than Tamiya's Opel Blitz.

John Van Kooten Hi Daniel,

Yes, you will be able to build the kit without the Flak as well because it is a two-in-one kit. The version without the Flak, which you can build from this box, is based on Dragon's #6670 kit (link below).

It is a very nice kit and will build into a good looking Opel Blitz. Definitely much better compared to the Tamiya and Italeri kits, I'd say :)

Daniel Smith Sounds great. :D
29. July 2015 at 18:06:42
Daniel Smith Estimated Arrival is September 2015. $57.99 USD.
29. July 2015 at 18:08:16
John Van Kooten The price may seem a bit steep for such a relatively small kit but given the quality of the kit and the fact that there are basically no alternatives, I think it is worth it. I'd give it a thumbs up and once it is released into the wild I am probably going to pick up one or two for myself as well :D
29. July 2015 at 20:04:41
Daniel Smith Yeah I'll be picking one up to. :D
30. July 2015 at 04:25:37
Daniel Smith Looking at the part call out from Modelingmaddness, it looks like there are no unused parts. So might be looking at a part count of around 300 to 400. But I'll be picking this kit up some time in the future. :D
18. January 2016 at 02:39:55
Daniel Smith From time to time DragonUSA,com has it for around $40.00 USD.
08. May 2016 at 00:15:38
Phenix I'm working on that kit atm, very nice, and IMHO, better than the Tamiya even if it's more complicated to build. But the great advantage of the Cyber Hobby is they offer the wheels to build a " late" version with the 8 holes wheels. Thing that Tamiya don't.
