Cool. I didn't find a kit review. Does it have this huge wheels of the "Kübelwagen" like it is shown on the box? Were the bumpers / headlights / flashlights / doorhandles chromed?

Hello Christian. It's got the balloon tires like on the box and no chrome parts at all.

No chrome! That is not bad! That saves some work. I'm curios about how the wheels come out.

Christian, no chrome definitely saved a lot of time, but there were some quite prominent seamlines on the car body on my kit which could not be ignored... and cost some extra time to remove. You win some, you lose some, I guess 😉
Hello Yngve, and welcome 🙂

@Rando Dude ... I know the problem with the seamlines on that kit. I have a couple different Beetles by Hasegawa and every kit has the same spots, where you have to take attention to. The better kit is this Police car / Fire chief based kit (1967 Beetle Volkswagen Beetle Type 1 (1967) (Hasegawa 21203, 1:24)). The seamlines around the rear lights are not that prominent like on the mold of the 1966 Beetle.
