playtime 222 Sigh. Just can't decide. I've already made the Tamiya which is supposed to be a mix of a 3 and a 5. I saw a Chieftain going through it's paces at Bovingdon in the mid-70s - I would like to build the Takom kit of that one but no idea which mark it would be.

Edward M It was going at auction for $35, so it was too good to pass up. Plus the Chieftains were why I decided to do 1/35...saw a photo of one head-on as a boy of seven or eight and thought it looked like the meanest thing in the world, with those smoke grenade launchers.

Jason C I was looking more at the other ten or so kits you've also acquired! I agree though that the Chiefy looks the business.

Edward M Usually, stash increases can be tied to a decrease in my general level of perceived well-being.

Jason C Well hang in there. I'm 11 months in to the sentence, and it still feels like a big adjustment. Of course one can now claim that the stash is actually an inheritance to be passed on.

Edward M That's precisely the argument being made for the 1/35 stuff!
