A strange hybrid kit. The Vietnam-era New Jersey on the box art is not what you get inside the box. The kit supplies parts that can depict a late WWII New Jersey with 20mm and 40mm AA guns, catapults and Curtiss Seahawks but includes a circa 1955-56 quadruped mainmast (rear mast) with AN/SPS-8 radar. It is therefore unique among the 1:350 Iowa-class models.
