wilky Now I need an unmade one to return it to original condition. This kit brings back very fond memories.
It was the most expensive kit that I ever bought. My friend at school had told me about it. He had stopped making model kits because he was repeating year twelve to get a higher score in order to get into the further education studies he wished to do.
It was 1984 and the kit at Kmart Ingle Farm, Adelaide. South Australia.. I'm not able to remember the exact price but it was over $20. I had to save my pocket money up to get it.
So every day I would go to Kmart to see if it was still there and eventually it was mine. Then the whole reason for buying it became completely redundant because I had bought it only as it had decals for a R.A.A.F. Black Panthers aerobatic display team aircraft and the panthers were awful for a start there was only one and should be two. So I built the J.A.S.D.F. one instead.
wilky Interestingly the serial number on the extra decal sheet is JS 098 which is the serial number of the previous release of this kit that contained clear parts. Maybe this sheet was also included in the JS 098 kits when sold in Australia
