Holger Kranich Hi John!
What a cool kit! Do you think about, building it in the near future?

John Coverley Hi Holger. It's not on the "build list" for this year. I started the Idolmaster F-22 a few years ago and although it's about 90% finished I just haven't got around to finish it. When I return to kits that I have started it takes me ages to work out where I left off. I started the pink F-22 with the idea of brightening up the table at a local competition, unfortunately I couldn't get it finished in time!

Holger Kranich Oh yes, these kits are really some eyecatcher on every exhibition table!
So i wish you good luck and a lot of good mood to finish your F-22 till the next competition!
Do you have WIP-pictures from that build, here?

John Coverley Sorry I didn't take any pictures of the build, but when I've got the 3 kits I'm working on out of the way I'll try and finish it and take some pictures.

John Coverley When I started it I had trouble with 50% of the parts moulded in pink. I hadn't heard of spraying them silver to stop the pink from showing through the parts that had to be white. It took a few coats of white primer and top coat to hide the pink. I had to get aftermarket decals for the missiles as there wasn't any in the kit. On the other hand there was 2 A4 sheets of decals for the Idolm@ster scheme, which included a LOT of flowers!
