Ron Garcia Easy build. Actually started it in 1995 but moved away so the kit sat in storage for years. When I moved back in the 2000s, I discovered the cockpit was missing so it sat again. While working on my stash of F-4s, I found the cockpit in an old Fujimi F-4 Thunderbird kit. It was missing the clear sprue but I had several canopies in my stash so I decided to finish it. The decals were a bit of a pain as they cover numerous bumps and vents. Micro Sol and Set took care of most of the issues but paint touch up was required. The multi part nose decals also took time to align. Looks good from about five feet away; any closer will reveal paint touch ups and the missing clear parts. Overall though, I'm pleased with how it turned out. Not bad for a kit that took over 20 years to finish!
