Bill Gilman Nice little kit. The Bf 109 E-7 Trop boxing fixes the wing root issue, though, you might want to consider that one. It has all the parts to build the E-4, in addition to an extra sprue to build the E-7 Trop.

Martyn Fox Hi Bill. Thanks for advice. I've just gone out and bought the kit and as you say it looks a nice kit, especially for the pocket money price. Might just get the Trop version as well to add to my stash.

Martyn Fox This is on my workbench currently. Will upload any progress pics.
Bill Gilman I've been building model aircraft since 1964 - this is the FIRST Bf-109 I've ever purchased! I have no idea what got into me. I guess I was just doing my part to keep Airfix in business - I bought a whole pile of their kits. Now I've got enough "Flying Hours" to trade in for a free series 1 or 2 kit. Woo hoo! I think the red Airfix boxes are overtaking the blue Revell boxes in my stash!!
Nice little kit, by the way, and very inexpensive! Cheers, Bill
