Just a note, to explain why I am disgusted with this. We are supposed to be typing actual kit lineage KNOWLEDGE on here when connecting the kits. Not "I think" types of guesses, or "someone told me",,,,,or "maybe my memory says."

My PC crashed, I finally found my password notes,,,,,,,,and now I see that the 1/72 Skyhawk and Phantom lineages have been "corrected",,,,,yet again, by someone that does NOT have the boxes in his hands so that he can compare the kits side by side. (as I do)

IMC Phantom was really a "new parts" release of the Revell kit. Italeri F-4S is a completely different tooling than the F-4E and RF-4E kits. Starfix Skyhawks were "new parts" release of the old Airfix kit. And the one Revell release of the Skyhawk was really the Italeri kit in the box.

That is why I had them that way,,,,,,,after opening the boxes and comparing the parts. There are more, but, it is not worth it. And I didn't even bother to check the rest of the kits' lineages.

I'm not even going to change them this time,,,,,,just type up my stash and place a copy at a friend's house.

Geez, people are making decisions based on what they read on Scalemates,,, and linking to the "facts" to try and help others. Getting it right, or leaving it right, should be a given on here.

Okay, I will fix the lineages so that all 86 of my Skyhawk models (just the stash, not the built ones) have a proper place on the Scalemates. Then I can go back and enter the decals options after that. Later, I will dig out the instructions and build notes for the finished models and add them in wherever they are really supposed to fit.
