Just to mention, both of these kits were very kindly sent to me by JOHN THOMAS.

Put a BIG shark mouth on the X-32 - that yawning air sucker is just begging for some teeth

By the time our Airforces receive the F-35 they'll be obsolete

I see you are on your way with the X-32 and the X-35, Good Luck

Dave, I think adding shark teeth would ruin the cuteness of the X-32's big happy smile...
And thanks everyone, i'm hoping they both go well.
At least painting should be very easy!

I bought this kit too (in Italeri box). I just had to have a model of the most ugly airplane ever!

Okeefanokee The Seventeenth
I actually like its shape. I also like the Fairchild A-10A Warthog. I simply have a knack for the unusual, special designs.

A guy in our club built a "conversion" of this kit. He removed the nose gear, added chicken feet instead of the main gear, put a beak on the nose, and painted it with feathers. Perfect!

this is a nice little kit to built, but you are going to take it a step up.

Oh, yeah. That dog of a kit...I can live with the wing being in the wrong position. But the tail surfaces should be flush with the side of the fuselage and the fuselage should be flat-sided. I'm half through that...

Sweet! Just watched Nova's "Battle of the X-planes" again the other day and wondered if anyone kitted Boeing's entry. Good to know! I personally liked it better than the X-35. Nice work

...some serious shape issues??? This is a issue at all! Look at this damn-ugly thing! I´d like to spit...

The funniest build of this kit that I've seen was one where the modeller substituted scratch built duck feet in place of the main gear, and painted the fuselage to look like feathers with a bright orange-yellow beak. It was absolutely hilarious!
