Hello Mates, Sorry for the lack of updates lately, but I am desperately waiting for some diorama figures to arrive in the mail. The post of Mother Russia is awfully slow these days. At the latest next winter the diorama will be finished, I promise😄

That is a truely breathtaking piece of work. NMF at its best, fantastic attention to detail
in every respect 👍

Love you work and dedication to the project. Nice ideas and it'll be a sight when it's done. I'm late to the show but now I'm here following the home stretch!

Admirable detailing, wow!

Very nice result. 👍 👍 Could use more weathering though, these things look quite dirty and used - especially the wheels.

Thx guys. Well spotted, Alex. Though airfields are mostly clean environments I left the vehicle, especially the wheels deliberately clean. The final weathering will be done on the diorama plate.

Thought so already. Then I'm back to patiently waiting. 🙂

You are too kind, mates. Neuling, I do not think this matchs one of your 1:35 builds though!

The dark background & real sunlight work magic - @Neuling I recall another photographer using the sun as the finished models best friend😉

The metal tones look superb in that setup & the Engines too, definitely an aftermarket part that delivers 👍 - in respectively skilled hands, of course...

Thank you all for those concluding remarks, Guillaume, Slavo and Neuling I loved this kit- unusual and impressive- I know others have commented on its accuracy and I see with justification why. It still commands a presence on the modeller's shelf and am sure would draw attention at any club or fare.

This looks oddly familiar 😄
Did you add some detail inside the canopy? Seems like it.

@Alexander G - just a bit of detailing- actually plagiarised from your sources!

The Su-27 is a huge airplane, but even it is dwarfed by the mighty "Tushka"

It is, essentially, a huge Soviet stick to hit a curved B-52 ball.

Yeah, nice analogy Andy.

This was a fantastic project to follow, and with a crowning result for all the efforts invested! 👍 Great show, top pics - I am a big fan of Soviet & later Russian aviation and this is one fine specimen, ticking the boxes in all departments! The tour of detailing and modifications was quite unique 👍

Great to put it against other models for size comparison - the lavishly sized Flanker is actually a downsizing effort in the Air Force - as would be the more relatable MiG-31 as well.

Looking forward to see it compared to a bomber some time soon😉
