Finally completed.
The JU 88 A-4 denoted here is one from 5/LG1 which was based at Catania in Sicily during 1941. This airbase was used to bomb Malta.
I attempted to make this aircraft far more weathered than I usually do. Most of the using washes etc was experimental for me.
The front and top canopies were a bit of a pain as they definitely had fitting issues!
I've taken some more photos with a flash. The intention was to have a fairly heavily weathered aircraft however, the final wash I used over the acrylic matt varnish seems to have been a bit of a mistake..... , oh well, something else learned.
Nice one with unusual camo. Like it. It seems that Ju-88 is somewhat cursed. I've built one from Hasegawa and the same fitting problems .
Thank you David for your kind comments I'm hoping that the new Revell JU88 A-1 is a better fit all round!

Wow, what a great start, pulling up a chair, and following, while taking a hand full of Skywalkers popcorn.January 17, 2021
