Steve Wilson @Alex...
Are you going to strip Revival's paint job and do your own... Like I do???
Or are you going to leave it as it is??? ;) :)
8. July 2013 at 17:33:08
Alexander Aristides Cronvall I think i need to strip all my Revival kits . i haven't seen the paint job on this one yet, but the Alfa P3 paint was a disaster, the Bugatti actually looked quite ok until i gave it a go with some light polish/wax and went straight thru the paintwork without any pressure at all :) so i guess it's better to do it the right way from the beginning and strip them right away and give those beauties the shine they deserve :)
8. July 2013 at 17:53:29
Steve Wilson Excellent decision :)
8. July 2013 at 17:55:56
Alexander Aristides Cronvall Any suggestions on what to strip it with ? i usually use isopropyl alcohol, but i have never striped a metal kit before.
8. July 2013 at 18:30:02
Pascal GARAT Great kit once again.
Wheels are awesome!!

the paint was pretty nice on mine.
To strip the paint, try cellulose thinners : Powerful and cheap ;)
8. July 2013 at 18:39:17
Steve Wilson Alex...
I'm not sure what paint Revival use...
I rough up the paint with coarse wet and dry then soak the parts in Cellulose Thinners, expensive I know, but I find it's the best way. At least the thinners is re-usable, even if it is red... :S
8. July 2013 at 18:40:15
Alexander Aristides Cronvall Cellulose it is then :) thanks mates i can use the remaining red thinner to water my grow a bag Alfa, maybe that will do the trick ;)
8. July 2013 at 20:11:22
Steve Wilson Ha! ha! ha!
Alfa grow bag, maybe I should put some on my Tomatoes...
I can't even grow them!!! :D :D :D
9. July 2013 at 07:32:12
Alexander Aristides Cronvall i have an artificial little apple tree on my balcony, works great ! always nice green apples all year around :) my only problem is my neighbor's cat that keeps jumping over the fens and start playing with my perfect apples. i think i have a higher consumption of glue on that poore tree then i have on my models. i have tried everything from pouring salt and pepper on the tree to hosing down the cat with cold water. no reaction at all except a little sneeze, and then he stares at me like i was retarded before he knocks the tree over and run away :( so maybe i should give thinner drenched tomatoes a go instead ;)
9. July 2013 at 14:18:25
Steve Wilson CATS!!!
Don't get me started on those little Bu99ers, I'm inundated with them, tried everything to get rid of the little sods as well. They just sit there with that inane grin, staring at me saying, "AND"...
We have a little ole' lady in our road, who encourages all the ferrel & stray Cats in the neighbourhood to her house. And of course they no a good thing when they see it and stay...
9. July 2013 at 15:29:40
Alexander Aristides Cronvall Every neighborhood around the world got a crazy cat lady. but i promise it will be my top priority to get rid of them if i ever get the power of world domination ;)
