Jorritf Part of the front suspension broke off... and can't get it fixt again. Of course you won't see this part when its completed but still...

Neuling I reinforced the chassis and suspension with an additional structure drilling holes and sticking in small metal rods. It worked. As long as it´s invisible I don´t care much about it. Main thing is: The model looks realistic.

Share Neuling Scott, I completed this one a few months ago and it turned out an attractive model. Many tiny parts and a plastic material which would not glue together using Revell Contacta Professional were a challenge though. I had to add a few structures to stabilize the model. But the outcome was worth it.

The construction of my wrecker make me a lot of fun on the internet I found a picture where you can see the wrecker as the Willlys Jeep hung on the crane hook takes.
So my Wrecker will be seen when it is completed built.
Your Wrecker I like wolen see sometimes.

To this end, I take the original TM 9-811 Diamond T968-9 to as support.

The cardan from the gearbox to the rear axle goes I have something changed, as seen in the photo is, I have both front and rear drilled holes and again provided with copper wire nails so that it remains agile whom the rear axle moves, and I shortened the small plastic pin and then replaced with the help of the drill incl wire pin.

Paul Sellwood There's a few more photos Frank, I'll post soon it doesn't go together like a Tamiya kit but it will look nice when finished. The engine went together well not like the chassis which will be next.

Frank Krause Thanks, Paul! The parts look nice. I had a closer look at it for a review. How do you tackle to get tiny parts from the sprues? Some are quite trapped and the sprues are much bigger than the parts themselves.

Paul Sellwood The small parts I used a small saw, the plastic is quite soft so that helps a lot. Some of the small parts I cut the sprue away to get at them haha.
