Steve Wilson Crikey Kars...
You've been so unlucky with missing parts, what can I say :O
Tell me though Kars...
With what, or how, did you check your white metal parts???
I have looked at my British GP kit and it looks an impossible task!!!
I was thinking of writing down all the metal parts numbers, say for instance.
M1 to M159, this gives me 159 w/metal parts and then count the parts I have in kit.
Is that how you did it??? Or was your way easier???
8. April 2014 at 16:08:12
Kars Jans I did have a look at every drawing of the instructions to see if it was there. Took me about half an hour. I don't know what's best. If you would count the parts and 1 thing is missing you still don't know what's missing. So another check. You have to look at it twice.
8. April 2014 at 16:27:03
Kars Jans I am lucky to have another C-version, as well as an A and B, so if necessary i will take the parts from one of these.
8. April 2014 at 16:31:33
Steve Wilson Unless, God forbid!!!
No you couldn't be that unlucky, I won't even tempt fate by saying it!!!

Alexander Aristides Cronvall That doesn't sound good Kars. Now you made me worried :(
8. April 2014 at 22:21:25
Kars Jans Sorry mates. There is no need for worry yet, as MFH has the possibility to deliver missing metal parts. Resin parts are not available.
9. April 2014 at 05:39:30
Alexander Aristides Cronvall I guess it's okay if it happens once. but when it happens more than once and there more than one part missing it ain't alright in my book. considering its handmade parts from a small company in a very high price range. but as long as they able to correct their mistakes hopefully they won't lose their customers.
9. April 2014 at 14:53:04
Kars Jans You are right, Alexander,. I think it should not happen with kits i have paid about 280 euro for.
9. April 2014 at 15:04:04
Alexander Aristides Cronvall Definitely not. i think i will take this evening and try to imaginary build my mfh kits. otherwise i won't be able to sleep tonight.

Have as many metal parts also Kars???

7. April 2014 at 19:09:26
Kars Jans I think so Steve. That's the A-version, right? I guess it is pretty much the same as the C-version. Differences are in the front and the rear wing i think.
7. April 2014 at 20:42:31
Steve Wilson I'm actually looking forward...
To buliding my kit of the British GP 312B2, but I must finish all my other projects first!!!
This is what happens with me, I get an itch to build something else mid another build.
And it has to be scratched!!! :S
8. April 2014 at 06:47:33
Kars Jans I always finish the project i am working on. But i have no space to work on multiple projects. Sometimes i am thinking doing two at a time. like now it would be ok to do the German version also. It is the same kit with only different rear wing and the white housing on it. But a i said, no space. There is a pic on my website now about the content of the kit.
