The LEDs I used are SK6812 individually addressable RGBW 5V, also known as neopixel LEDs I believe. The lens' you can buy on ebay, they come in different sizes depending on what effect you want to achieve.
Man the fiber optics coming up through to light up the console is outstanding! I really gotta get busy and learn how to do that! Excellent!
Trust me you need patience to do it, but it does look good. Happy to answer any questions in future - may the force be with you!
that cockpit certainly looks amazing with the lights. thanks for the extra pictures!February 20, 2021

Hey great! I have this one too. Could you post a pic of the decal sheet? I'd like to compare it with mine.
Hey there JD, I upload photos of the stickers and decals for you in the Kit's "what's in the box" area. Just go to the kit and click the button.
Most of these decals I will probably not use. I'll be painting on a lot so I can do chipping and other weathering effects.February 4, 2021

Great job! Always a pleasure to see an X-wing come to life.. great looking vintage kit.
Thanks JD I'd love to get hold of another one of these old MPC jobs to see what results I could get now.....getting them for a sensible price is a problem though!
