Thank you, Niels and Jacqueline, @Niels: the kit ist well detailed and hast a very good fit. In the instructions Border shows optional parts, but leaves it to your research to pick the right part, e. g. the muzzle beak. To produce zimmerit, they give you advice, how to make it on your own. I preferred Atak zimmerit, which is easy to handle and looks great.

Jagdpanzer IV with 7,5 cm Panzerjägerkanone 39 L/48 was introduced in Panzerjägerabteilungen in January 1944.
In July 1944 PzJgAbt. 228 of 116. Panzerdivision "Windhund" got 21 JPz IV. They took part in operations in Normandy, in autumn 1944 they fought in Hürtgenwald and also in the Ardennes.
