This kit brought back memories as I have also build it when I was about 12 years old I guess. Back then I was not bothered by the fitting issues of this kit of which I read about on a forum. The last few weeks/months were both fun as a bit of a challenge. I learned a lot 'how not to' 🙂.The beauty of the plane kept me going however with great enthusiasm. Trying to overcome the canopy mistakes in the kit I had to fill a lot because it was too small in a closed position. Should have done that earlier. Better next time. Inspired by Dieter Sengs beautiful build on Modellversium I tried to make something of it. I loved building it and made extra detail on the fuselage and wings by making rivets, wiring on the landing gear and a few little extras on the pilot.
