This is one of my favorites. It has a successful transparent blue over silver base coat paint job. It was the first 69 RS convertible kit I had seen (1980s). The rims are Corvette rallys with the rears widened by my usual method. The tires are from a Lamborghini Countach kit. I was weary of all my model interiors being basic black so I painted this one silver. This car was all blue until recently when I had some custom metallic silver decals made by Keith Marks. The blue on the grille was hand painted from the separated pigment coloring of a bottle of Testors metallic sapphire blue. This was one my best early builds.
