Martin von Schreckenstein I see you created a different album. You will not evade me tho Awesome work so far. This build will be an indispensable reference when I attempt to convert a WWII Essex to a cold war one in 1/700

Michael Smith Glad you like it! I had some issues with the old one so I thought it'd be simpler to start over with a better organized list. But my next project is like yours - I'm doing a 1950 Oriskany from a Dragon Princeton. My goal is to finish this project by end of June, and then start on that. But it'll be simpler as a waterline model.
Anyone having problems editing their albums? I tried adding photos to one and it kept showing as broken links under "manage" but the photos were showing. But since I couldn't see them, while I could add captions I couldn't resort them into the right order. I finally gave up and deleted the album and started over, but having the same problem.

JD Me too. Now when I upload pics I can't see any thumbnails, and have a hard time putting them in order.
Martin von Schreckenstein Incredible build and awesome collection of the Essex class ships! I am a huge fan of those. Built in WW2 ans slowly upgraded to serve all the way into the nineties! I hope one day somebody makes a 1/700 model of an SCB-125 Essex. Fingers crossed I will be watching your build, not often something like this can be seen.

Michael Smith I'm a little surprised I didn't do this in 1/700, but I got intrigued by the idea of accurizing the old kit.
Christian Bruer Well, always fascinated by ship modeling and also a ship modeler (scale 1/350). I'm really impressed by you patience and craftsmanship to tunr the old box scale kit into an up to date ey catcher. I lift my hat, looking forward to you progress!. Cheers, Christian
