The United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) was created in 1946 and was active in Greece in the late 1940s, more specifically during the 1946-'49 Civil War years, following the steps of UNRRA. David Seymour aka Chim (1911-1956) [ en.wikipedia.org/wik..eymour_(photographer) / unicef.org/emergencies/index_69785.html ] who was at the time working on a UNESCO project documenting UNICEF activities: Youtube Video .
