Building as a competition for an online group, kit displayed as unstarted. 

they say the first cut is the deepest! 

the body shaped as I wanted, including roof chop. 

left over part............. might find a use for this later 

bonnet glued on with white glue so more cutting can be done safely 

and the front guards are off 

engine almost complete 

guard holes filled (this would come back to haunt me later in the build)
