I build sci-fi ships, comic books vehicles, heroes classic monsters, movie figures, WWII armor and aircrafts. As you can see from my stash of kits I got a lot to keep me building.
I have been building model kits since I was 7, stopped building for awhile (when I discovered girls). Started doing build ups for other people in college to earn some extra money. Learn how to scratch build, make molds and cast them. Started doing it more as a way to relieve stress, it bets drinking, probably would have been cheaper. Now that I'm retired it keeps me sane and from getting bored.
